Cyber Security Engineer Salary is negotiable. Duties: • Implementation, configuration, operation and continuous improvement of information and cyber security controls to prevent incidents: WAF, DDoS Protection, DLP, PAM, EDR/XDR, Email Protection, Database Firewall, Vulnerability Management, Sast/SCA, Threat Intelligence, MDM, Password/Secrets Manager • Development of basic requirements for secure configuration of servers, endpoints, network devices and cloud environments • Regular scanning of vulnerabilities on IT infrastructure servers and network devices and prioritization of discovered weaknesses • Configuration and monitoring of cloud infrastructure information and cyber security tools • Ensuring delivery of logs from security control systems to Siem • Determination of security requirements and technical controls at the planning stage of new systems, services and infrastructural changes, taking into account security-by-design principles • Automate repetitive technical tasks using scripts • Technical communication with manufacturers of information and cyber security solutions • Immediate response and preventive measures in the event of a cyber security incident • Rapid response to information security events/incidents according to established action plans (playbooks/runbooks) and implementation of initial preventive actions • Full involvement in the analysis of the root cause of the incident (RCA - Root Cause Analysis). • Taking corrective and preventive measures to prevent recurrence of the incident • Close collaboration with related teams to contain incidents and ensure timely restoration of damaged systems • Preparation of notifications and reports on cyber security incidents in accordance with the rules and deadlines established by the National Bank of Georgia • Participation in the preparation of simulation tests/exercises • Participation in information security trainings for the company's employees • Informing the supervisor about current attack methods and expected threat trends that may harm the company's systems • Preparation of reports on the performed works and submission to the supervisor • Perform other related tasks Requirements: • At least 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity engineering or security-focused IT infrastructure role • Practical experience in implementing and operating security controls • Thorough knowledge of cyber security solutions, their manufacturers, protocols, network and system infrastructure protection • Practical knowledge of network and system infrastructure (routing, switching, Windows, Linux, VMware, Active Directory) • Knowledge of hardening and secure configuration of servers, network devices and endpoints (eg CIS Benchmarks) • Knowledge of script writing and automation • Research the issue and focus on details Analytical thinking • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently • Good communication skills to work on several issues at the same time • Teamwork and cooperation Constant pursuit of improvement
